The Dorchester Group was established in 1996 as an independent UK-registered company, formed to manage the evolving international collection of luxury hotels belonging to the Brunei Investment Agency in Europe and the United States.

The Dorchester Group's intention is to select only the world's premier hotels, cultivating their reputations for individual character, friendly and caring staff, beautiful and comfortable accommodations, with the highest quality food and service in superb locations.

Their present collection of luxury properties consists of The Dorchester in London, The Beverly Hills Hotel in California, the Hôtel Meurice (228, rue de Rivoli, 1er) and the Hôtel Plaza Athenée (25, avenue Montaigne, 8e) in Paris.
