Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches Founded 40 years ago, this is the oldest company operating Bateaux-Mouches on the Seine in Paris. Self-financed, the company has flourished with its strong traditions of independence and innovation. Each of the thoroughly modern boats in its current fleet are named after their ancestors, vessels which provided Parisians with reliable passenger boat services both before and after the second World War. Since all of the company's custom-built boats serve a specific purpose, they are equipped with the most advanced technology. Regular inspections are conducted by Bureau Véritas and Appaves, as well as the health department, to assure maximum passenger safety and comfort. Services include multi-lingual audio-visual presentations; maps and tourism guides printed in 22 different languages; and onboard waypoint display systems to help passengers pinpoint a boat's exact position. The company employs about 200 people, including pilots, hosts, catering staff, and maintenance personnel. Each year, the fleet voyages a distance equal to three circumnavigations of the globe. The following statement is taken from their web site's promotional page: Schedules: High Season (Summer): Winter Season: Duration of all cruises: 1 hour. PRICES:
