Founded 40 years ago, this is the oldest company operating Bateaux-Mouches on the Seine in Paris. Self-financed, the company has flourished with its strong traditions of independence and innovation.

Each of the thoroughly modern boats in its current fleet are named after their ancestors, vessels which provided Parisians with reliable passenger boat services both before and after the second World War.

Since all of the company's custom-built boats serve a specific purpose, they are equipped with the most advanced technology. Regular inspections are conducted by Bureau Véritas and Appaves, as well as the health department, to assure maximum passenger safety and comfort.

Services include multi-lingual audio-visual presentations; maps and tourism guides printed in 22 different languages; and onboard waypoint display systems to help passengers pinpoint a boat's exact position. The company employs about 200 people, including pilots, hosts, catering staff, and maintenance personnel. Each year, the fleet voyages a distance equal to three circumnavigations of the globe.

The following statement is taken from their web site's promotional page:
"Welcome aboard. Take a seat on one of the most sophisticated river boats to enjoy a leisurely cruise on the River Seine through the heart of the "City of the Light". This unique experience takes in such sights as the Louvre, Notre Dame, Orsay Museum, The Eiffel Tower, and the Statue of Liberty. So why not take time to dine? We have luxury lounges and individual tables, all set behind 25,000m2 of panoramic viewing glass. We take pleasure in presenting Paris with style, grace and charm."

CroisiEurope and CroisiMer

CroisiEurope
12, rue de la Division Leclerc, 67000 Strasbourg
For information, call: 03.88.76.44.44 — or make a reservation online.

For those who prefer their accommodations to move across the countryside as they do, we suggest a wonderfully relaxing way to see France and other European countries: by riverboat. On river cruises, you pack and unpack only once; there's no need to get up at unspeakable hours in the morning to board a bus for the next destination. You and your hotel cruise along together!

a CroisiEurope cruise boat

Serving more than 180,000 passengers a year, CroisiEurope has a fleet of 26 Prestige-category boats which ply the most beautiful rivers — such as the Rhône, Saône, and Seine rivers in France; the Danube, Moselle, Neckar, Rhine, Saar, and other rivers in western Europe.

Spacious and light, each vessel offers its guests a welcoming and refined setting. Depending on itinerary and the boat's design — spanning from 65 meters (213 ft) to 110 meters (361 ft) in length, with between 40 to 80 double outside staterooms — accommodation capacity ranges from 100 to 180 passengers.

At the cutting edge of technology, the facilities offer both comfort and safety. All cabins are equipped with shower and toilet, hair dryer, satellite TV, radio, central heating, and air conditioning. In addition to dining rooms on board, a number of vessels also feature a full salon, library, and health & fitness facilities.

Carefully maintained and partially renovated each year, the fleet is largely made up of recently-built vessels, less than five years old, all with Veritas certification*. As the leading European river tour operator, CroisiEurope has earned an international reputation by virtue of its attention to detail, a dynamic and customer-oriented service staff, its sense of innovation, and a superior value for the cost of travel.

Bureau Veritas

Introduced in 2007, the M.S. Belle de l'Adriatique is the first boat in the CroisiMer fleet to offer wonderful maritime and coastal itineraries, ports of call rich in color, which we can sail to thanks to the boat's dimensions. On board, you will find all of the amenities and comfort which guarantee the quality and seriousness of the CroisiEurope fleet.

* The classification of ships by Bureau Veritas provides assurances about vessel safety and reliability.
